![]() I’ve suggested doing something similar to PoE private leagues and letting people create them for mods.īlizzard effectively having their own mod, LoD+ that you could play optionally seems to make sense. If they would let people create online mods that you could play on bnet, that’d be neat, but seems unlikely. I believe the people running these private servers profit off of it in some way, so they have no interest in making offline versions of their mods. I forget which thread it was, but someone already mentioned that the makers of some of the major D2 mods already indicated they weren’t going to port them to D2:R. People want to play online with others on official Blizzard servers. Offline mods only I don’t think is that great. ![]() I think the feedback about changes just shows we’d like to see them in the future, not that we expect them to delay release to make changes first. I expect release will be few if any changes we haven’t already seen. So to everyone who wants all these changes whats the harm in releasing D2:R as close to D2 with a handful of small QoL changes and then rereleasing the same mods that everyone is already a fan of?
